Voice of the People (VoP) is a global Jewish leadership network dedicated to strengthening the future of the Jewish people. We develop diverse leaders, build trusted relationships across geographies and perspectives, and create a mobilizable brain trust – ready to act collectively when the moment calls. VoP was established with the support of the President’s House, the World Zionist Organization, the Jewish Agency for Israel, and philanthropic partners.

VoP exists to cultivate a generation of Jewish leaders who are generous, grounded, and ready to lead collectively. We bring together diverse individuals from across the world to build trust, develop shared purpose, and mobilize in service of the Jewish people. Our model combines leadership development, a trusted global network, and the collective readiness to act when it matters most.

Cohort One launched in 2024 as the first-of-its-kind global Jewish leadership council. Over 18 months, we convened leaders from six continents, developed our shared ethos and guiding principles, and began translating relationships and trust into collective action. We are now building on those learnings to design an even stronger Cohort Two experience, with applications expected to open in Q3–Q4 2026.

Cohort Two will comprise of 150 council members, selected from across Israel, North America, and the globe. Council members serve a two-year term and participate in monthly sessions, working groups, an annual gathering in Israel, and collaborative initiatives. We look for leaders who bring distinct expertise, diverse perspectives, and a genuine commitment to the Jewish people as a collective.

No. We actively seek leaders from outside formal Jewish communal structures. What matters is your passion, and your commitment to the future of the Jewish people, not only your institutional affiliation.

Applications are reviewed through a rigorous multi-stage process with a custom made algorithm designed to ensure diversity across geography, generation, sector, and background. We look for leaders who bring distinct expertise and a genuine commitment to collective leadership. Selection decisions are communicated following the review process. The application is open to anyone who identifies as Jewish, is over 21, and believes in Israel’s right to exist as a Jewish state.

Council members commit to 16 months. This includes monthly virtual sessions (approximately 2–3 hours each), participation in working groups or task forces, and an annual 5-day gathering in Israel. Active members typically invest 4-6 hours per month. We ask for genuine engagement, not just attendance.

Cohort members are active participants in the 16 month program. Upon completing their term, they become VoP council members – remaining connected to the network, programming, and part of our standing reserve of leaders ready to engage when needed.

All sessions and programming are conducted in English. A working level of English is required to participate fully.

There is no membership fee to participate in VoP. Hotel accommodation for the annual Israel gathering is covered. Travel expenses, including flights, may be reimbursed upon request. We are committed to ensuring that financial barriers do not prevent strong candidates from participating.

We anticipate opening the Cohort Two application process in the beginning of September 2026. To be notified when applications open, sign up for our newsletter or contact us at info@voiceofthepeople.org.il.

Absolutely. If you know someone who would be a strong fit for VoP, we’d love to hear from you. Reach out at info@voiceofthepeople.org.il. We welcome nominations and referrals.
