The “Voice of the People” initiative is a collaborative effort involving The President’s House, the World Zionist Organization, the Jewish Agency for Israel and philanthropic partners.

“Voice of the People” serves as a global collaborative forum, impartial and inclusive, aiming to represent the diverse spectrum of Jewish voices. Our goal is to foster dialogue among future Jewish leaders on pressing challenges, while establishing clear and actionable parameters for constructive outcomes.
The Council operates in two-year cycles, addressing the most significant issues facing the Jewish community. These topics are identified through surveys, virtual focus groups, and global sessions. Our work begins with team meetups and online onboarding, culminating in a 4-day conference in Israel for council members, fellows, and mentors. Following the conference, focused online working groups convene for two years: the first year emphasizes research and the formulation of concrete MVP ideas, submitted for review, while the second year focuses on refining, implementing, and promoting these initiatives for distribution.

The council will comprise 150 members who will be chosen from applicants globally. Additionally, there will be a fellowship track consisting of 10 academic fellows and a mentorship track with board of mentors. Participants will be selected to enhance diversity and foster international cooperation, tapping into the collective Jewish wisdom to tackle shared challenges and implement strategies over a span of 2 years.

All local laws will be adhered to. The short-listed candidates will be interviewed before the final decision.

The time commitment for selected members includes the ability to attend the launch Convention  in Israel in March 2025. Additionally, members are expected voluntarily to dedicate themselves to actively engaging with the initiative for a span of 2 years. During this time, they will collaborate with their task teams to execute the deliverables outlined by the council.

Council membership is voluntary.

English will serve as the primary language for this initiative. Council members and participants must possess a competent level of English as all sessions and meetings will be conducted exclusively in English.

There are no personal costs for council members. All flights, accommodation, and travel costs to attend the conference are covered by the organizers.
